Deffdog (real name: Tim Deffner) was an operative affiliated with the Zionites. Deffdog served as leader of The Devoted before merging that group into The Trust. In both groups, Deffdog captained the Shadrack, a hovecraft noted for its large capacity and permanent cargo of one APU. Deffdog captained the Shadrack in the battle to secure Commander Jason Lock on the side of Zion and E Pluribus Neo.

In 7.1, Alan Cardigan met with Deffdog.
In Chapter 10.1.1, he led a group of Zionites to rescue the Evaluator and Palorina, who were kidnapped by a gang.
